The business pole in the center-north area of the Capital keeps its first place in top regions chosen by the office tenants from 2016, and it is like a magnet for the big companies in Romania.

Why? It has the largest and most state-of-the-art office buildings on the market. It is the hot spot where most companies have migrated in the last five years and have an outlet, especially for companies in the IT&C and Telecom fields, whose employees are young and want a working environment like in Silicon Valley.

It is not surprising that here, in Barbu Văcărescu-Floreasca-Dimitrie Pompeiu area, only in the first half of 2016 are IBM, SAP Bucharest, DeutscheTelekom Pan Net, Amber Studio, GMV, Wipro, Eurotesting, Cyberslotz Services, and Ericson rented or pre-lease office spaces.

What else appeared in the area, in addition to offices 

Near the headquarters of these companies, which have thousands of young employees, personal service spaces have also appeared, rented in office buildings where IT specialists and small businesses in the food & gourmet area moved.

Thus, in the Hermes II office building, Unica Sport rented space of 900 sqm for a fitness center. Lagardère Travel Retail took up an area of 104 sqm to open a 1 Minute store, right inside the Iride office complex, to be close to more than 1.000 new IBM employees who will be able to buy fresh, croutons and fresh desserts.

In the north-central area, in Sky Tower, a new, state-of-the-art building, moved its headquarters and a diplomatic corps, respectively the Korean Embassy, which rented office space of 1.150 sqm.

The tenants who rented the most significant office spaces in Barbu Văcărescu-Floreasca-Dimitrie Pompeiu area chose office buildings like Iride, Hermes, Sky Tower, and Green Court – Building C and Globalworth Tower.

The largest office space traded in Bucharest, of 20.000 sqm, was the one rented by IBM, the largest provider of IT products and services in the world, in the Iride Park complex.
