These days, the builders are digging the foundation for The Light, a new office project in Bucharest, located in the Politehnica-Orhideea area, on the former Pumac platform, according to the ESOP | Corfac International monitoring team. The project will have high visibility, being located on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, at the end of Cotroceni Palace, between the Politehnica metro station and the entrance of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
The Light will be an 11-story tall building with a timeless design, large glazed spaces, which allow optimal natural lighting of office spaces. The Light will have a total leasable office space of 20,000 sqm, according to BOMA standards.
The Light office building is scheduled to be delivered in the last quarter of next year, 2018.
As facilities, the office project The Light Bucharest will have underground parking, reception, a sky bar, and office spaces will have green building attributes, with great care about reducing energy consumption. The rectangular shape of the office spaces located on each floor will allow the maximum efficiency of their partitioning.
With this project’s appearance, the number of vacant lands in the area adjacent to the Polytechnic University of Bucharest is further reduced, and the bar of real estate projects here is raised once again. Near the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, apart from these two large office projects, modern residential complexes, intended for young people, are under construction also.
The Light is 400 meters from Politehnica Metro Station and a 5-minute walk from the Botanical Garden and Cotroceni Palace. Still, it also has an excellent connection to the Victoriei area – thanks to Basarab Passage.
“The main advantage remains the proximity to the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the largest technical education institution in Romania, where companies that will rent space in The Light offices will quickly absorb the future, skilled workforce,” according to Alexandru Petrescu, ESOP Manager.
The area is part of the new business pole Orhideea-Grozăvești-Politehnică, in the center-west area of the Capital, where state-of-the-art office buildings are being built, such as those in The Bridge, AFI Park, Orhideea Towers, Campus 6 and Business Gardens projects.
