Bitdefender Moves Into New Offices

According to ESOP Consulting, employees of the IT&C company are moving in a 9,267 sqm Class A office space in Orhideea Towers.

Bitdefender is the largest local software developer, which has recently expanded internationally. This month will be opening an office in Melbourne, Australia, and the offices they have in the US, in Santa Clara CA, Fort Lauderdale FL, Washington DC, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Italy, and Dubai.

In Bucharest, over 900 employees of the company will work in the new headquarters in the Grozăveşti-Regie area.

The area chosen by Bitdefender for the new offices is in the center-west part of the capital, near the student dormitories in Regie, the largest campus in Romania and the Politehnica University of Bucharest. The same intersection with the new headquarters in Bucharest is the Grozăveşti metro station, but also the stations of two tram lines and numerous bus stops, which connects the area with all the major neighborhoods. Also nearby is Carrefour Orhideea, with many variations of food and shopping.

The new office block from the center-west absorbed a third of office demand in the first half of 2018, here also setting up their future offices other major IT&C companies such as UPC, the support division of the London Stock Exchange, Superhippo and Schlumberger.
