The first two office buildings of the Timpuri Noi Square project received the LEED Platinum certificate (the highest level of evaluation of green buildings in the international LEED system).

 

The two completed office buildings in Timpuri Noi Square, occupied almost entirely, have together an area of 32.000 sqm. Currently, work is underway on the third office building in this project, with an area of 20.000 sqm.

 

What benefits does LEED Platinum certification bring to employees?

 

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used international green building appraisal system in the world, with Platinum certification standards being the highest appraisal step.

 

LEED Platinum rated buildings receive the highest score at the following points:

– are built on ecological land for sustainable development,

– respects the concept of Water Efficiency (irrigation of green spaces is done efficiently and saves water consumption by using high-performance installations in the building),

– buildings are also energy efficient, with low energy consumption over time,

– are made of natural construction materials and materials that do not harm the environment. The quality of the environment inside the building is optimal. It means observed ventilation norms, fresh air supply, and healthy natural lighting.

 

Employees working in Timpuri Noi Square thus benefit from the high quality of the environment. With a quiet and healthy air conditioning and ventilation system, thermal comfort control, electrical energy-saving equipment, complete LED lighting, and water reduction, the developer’s statement.
