The AFI Tech Park office project attracts three new tenants, occupying another 5,600 sqm: certSIGN has signed a contract for an area of 2,300 sqm, New Work will arrange a co-working space on an area of 2,800 sqm, and Afcon Electra Romania will move the offices to an area of 500 square meters.
New Work will also operate the common conference space. With the new tenants, the first stage of the project reaches an occupancy rate of 80%, out of the 22,000 sq m of leasable area. AFI Tech Park 1 was inaugurated in the last quarter of 2018. The future tenants thus have the opportunity to move quickly to the arrangement of the spaces.
Earlier this year, construction work began on the second stage of the project, AFI Tech Park 2, according to ESOP monitoring.
AFI Tech Park 2 will also have a leasable area of 22,000 square meters, arranged on eight floors, with a deadline of completion in the third quarter of 2020. The future office spaces, open space, and partition are available for pre-rent.
The business center is designed as a campus, which will have its own community, with high tech facilities such as backup generators for tenant systems, access control, voice data outlets, but also a membership card in AFI Tech Park Club for each employee, which offers discounts and benefits at restaurants in the area, at the generous World Class fitness gym in the complex, with a space spread over an area of approximately 1,500 sqm, rented through ESOP.
AFI Tech Park has the advantages of a green building, low energy consumption, and cares for the environment, having pre-certified LEED Platinum and a central location, being located in the center-west of the Capital, near the Vulcan retail park Value Center and next to the People’s House.
