Romanian office market – 46% growth in the first quarter

In the first three months of 2016, in our country were rented office space totaling about 135.000 sqm 46% more than the same period in 2015.

The most significant volume of office space was traded in Bucharest, in second place is Iași, followed by Timișoara, Cluj Napoca, and Brașov. As in previous years, most office requests in the first quarter of 2016 came from IT&C, outsourcing, and BPO companies, representing over half.

The second quarter of 2016 is announced to be more active than the same period in 2015, in the first half of April, large pre-lease contracts that have already been signed exceeded 25.000 sqm.
