RIS Resource Information Systems Inc. enters the Romanian market
RIS Resource Information Systems Inc. (RIS) has opened its representative office in Bucharest, announces ESOP, the real estate agency that mediated the lease transaction of the new office space located in Aleea Alexandru Office Center. RIS is a Canadian company specializing in IT support and maintenance services. RIS is among the top 50 Best Managing Companies in Canada, and in the Top 25 IT Services Companies, its client portfolio including North American market leaders, says Horia Jurcau, RIS Offshore Director.
The rented space is a 150 sq m duplex with all the necessary facilities to carry out the activity of a software company. Along with RIS Romania in the Business Center from Aleea Alexandru are Fujitsu Siemens and Mood Media, the building being 90% occupied.
Romania is increasingly becoming a favorite place for companies operating in the software industry, both due to the professional training and innate creativity of Romanian programmers and due to the positive signals regarding Romania’s integration into the EU and NATO.
“Recently, there have been increasing requests from software companies, both those who want to relocate, due to the increase in the number of employees, and companies interested in opening offices in Romania,” says Alexandru Petrescu, from ESOP.
