The Euro Tower office building was monitored by BuildGreen organization, which assessed that it met NET Zero Carbon standards in 2019, 2020 and will likely end 2021 on the same note, due to the energy efficiency of the building and the way it is managed.
Decarbonizing the carbon footprint of a building requires the use of materials and technologies that ensure energy efficiency and minimize CO2 emissions, the implementation of efficient solutions for the construction and operation of the building, and the compensation of CO2 emissions that are impossible to eliminate or control in the process of development (such as tenant emissions).
Euro Tower is a landmark in the office market in Bucharest, according to the monitoring of ESOP Consulting, being among the first class A office buildings and the first to receive a green certificate in 2009, the BREEAM Very Good, also through BuildGreen.
The building is currently being monitored according to the LEED v4.1 O + M Existing Buildings and LEED Zero Carbon methodology and is expected to receive these awards next year.
LEED Zero Carbon is the primary tool for assessing and ensuring compliance with all sustainable development rules and practices to neutralize carbon dioxide emissions throughout the building’s life cycle – from concept to construction and operation.
Euro Tower has green spaces created specifically to benefit from sustainable building standards. On the roof, Euro Tower has an outdoor garden with trees and ornamental plants, and on the ground floor there is another green area open to the general public.

The building has 18 floors and a total area of 18,000 square meters, underground parking with 180 spaces and outdoor parking with 300 spaces.
