City Hall of District 5 has recently held a public debate on the development of the Antiaerian project, on the most extensive free plot in Bucharest, about 110 hectares. Along with our company, representatives of the foremost real estate developers in Bucharest and several major real estate companies were invited.
The initial project proposes building a technological hub to attract young employees, but also 40,000 dwellings, a polyvalent hall, sports fields, school, and maternity, located, as shown in the picture below.
District 5 City Hall has signed a technical assistance agreement with the World Bank, taking into account the joint development of the design theme for urban development and the economic component and investor attraction.
The project is also included in the District 5 Sustainable Development Plan, along with seven other priority plans, including the Cotroceni-Progresul urban highway, which will follow the route of the former railway between the two regions, and an urban transport hub in the Progresul area, an urban regeneration project in the ROCAR area – a mix of commercial and housing and an urban regeneration project for retail and tourism in the Uranus area, setting up a pedestrian and cycling area between the Historic Center – The Academy Park and the George Coşbuc area.
For the time being, no deadline has been set for the implementation of the projects.
