Declarations for building taxes can be submitted until May 20, 2016
Have you not yet filed a tax return on the building, in the case of a home where a company has its registered office or office? Rest assured, the Government has extended the deadline by another two months for submitting documents to the tax directorates.
The main reasons for this postponement are the growing queues at the tax offices and cumbersome and questionable procedures, which have led to repeated changes in legislation.
Even if Government sources have repeatedly specified that homeowners whose apartment companies do not deduct their utilities will pay tax as housing and complete the declaration in this regard, the Government Decision was approved only in early March. It was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force only on Monday, March 21, one week before the expiry of the first official deadline.
Therefore, the Government has approved a new emergency ordinance with this watch, which changes the deadline, which will enter into force immediately after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Thus, each owner who does not want to pay the fine of 1,000 lei, for not submitting the declaration, has until May 30, 2016, to reach the direction of taxes and duties of the mayor’s office within which the property is located, to register the standard declaration.
