Campus 6 – Phase 1 Has Only 20% Vacant Spaces

The first office building in the Campus 6 project is almost rented. In this phase, Campus 6.1 provides the delivery of about 22,000 sqm of class A office space in the third quarter of 2018. Still, almost 80% of the area is already pre-leased by future tenants, according to our company’s monitoring.

For the 20% of the spaces left in this first building, discussions are held with several potential customers, with the very high probability that the building will be fully pre-rented in the next period. Most of the future tenants are from the IT&C and BPO fields, one of the pre-lease contracts being made through ESOP.

Campus 6 is located at the intersection of Iuliu Maniu Boulevard with Vasile Milea Boulevard, near the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, and very close to the AFI Cotroceni shopping center and the Cotroceni Palace.

The first building on Campus 6, with 11 floors, is in an advanced stage of work, as can be seen from the pictures. It will be joined by two more office buildings, which will benefit from many facilities: amphitheater, common areas with Wi-Fi coverage, rooftop running track.

The developer of the project brings for the first time in Romania the concept of WELL Building Standard, having green building characteristics, being pre-certified to LEED certification standards at Gold level, and numerous other facilities for the campus 6 office building employees.

Finally, in 2021, the Campus 6 office building will have about 82,000 square meters of workspace and 1,000 underground parking spaces.

The center-west area, where the Campus 6 office project is located, is shaping up to be the second-largest office hub in Bucharest, in terms of size and the main IT&C and BPO business HUB in the Capital.

The most crucial factor of the accelerated development of the office market in this area of ​​Bucharest is the high demand for employees with technical training and knowledge of foreign languages, from companies in the fields of IT&C and BPO, for which it is a great advantage to be closer to the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the largest with this profile in the country and the Grozăvești student campus.
