Alfa Laval in New Headquarters

ESOP announces Alfa Laval relocation

Starting with January 1, 2007, the multinational company Alfa Laval will operate in a high-class office building in the Unirii Square area. ESOP managed to successfully mediate the completion of this transaction and the identification of a space that would meet all the essential criteria taken into account by Alfa Laval.

Alfa Laval is a world leader in providing specialized products and solutions for various applications, such as equipment that comes into direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals, heating and cooling equipment, equipment for process industries / environmental protection/oil and gas. In 1991, the Swedish group Alfa Laval decided to expand its operations in Romania and opened a representative office in Bucharest. Currently, the company provides services, repairs, and spare parts, in the fastest way, but also customized packages and preventive maintenance programs. The chosen building is a new office building, renovated exceptionally, keeping the original style precise, but bringing modern elements very elegantly integrated, for example, the safety glass skylight on the floor of all floors.

The building has a layout: Ug + Gf + 4. Alfa Laval rented 280 sqm, more precisely the third floor in a location that offers unique visibility, necessary to consolidate the company’s reputation. The space has central air conditioning through the ceiling, voice-data network, internet, and its own central heating. The building also provides 14 rental parking spaces.

The solution found by ESOP for Alfa Laval offers easy access to several public transport channels, including the metro. “For a multinational company, the image is vital, and the new headquarters benefits from a special location, in the old center of Bucharest, a prestigious area, in full evolution,” says Bogdan Gont, Offices Consultant within ESOP.
