Renting Historic Villas

The former headquarters of the Syrian Embassy will be transformed into a private high school

The real estate company ESOP Consulting brokered the rental of the villa in Lascar Catargiu no. 50, of 728 sqm, served as the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Bucharest, over 10 years. Private education provides a growing demand for rental space for children and students (whether it’s kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, or after-school activities).

“The renting of old buildings with period perfume by private educational units represents a niche in continuous development. Only this month we brokered two such transactions: renting a 728 sqm villa, in the Victoriei area, by the European School Bucharest, which intends to arrange it in a private high school and renting a 210 sqm villa, in the Cotroceni area, by Injoy, an after-school with summer school. Thus, only in the last two years, we have received a double number of requests, coming both from some private educational institutions that are being set up and from others that are expanding “, says Alexandru Petrescu, manager of the real estate company ESOP Consulting.

The villa rented through the company ESOP will serve to expand the activity of the high school.

As facilities, students enrolling at the European School Bucharest receive more attention from teachers – a class with a maximum of 15 students enrolled, library, sports field, canteen, transportation, extracurricular activities such as intensive language learning, design, theater, piano, guitar, dance, etc.

Injoy will open in June and will offer educational services before & after-school, summer school, as well as numerous courses for the little ones.
