Remus BC, new building with facilities for SMEs, exclusively at ESOP
ESOP Consulting has taken over the exclusivity for Remus BC, a new building with facilities for SMEs, financed from European funds.
- Remus BC is a business support center for medium and small companies, centrally located in the Calea Calarasilor area;
- ESOP Consulting is a leader in the segment of office rental with facilities for SMEs, being appointed the exclusive consultant of projects financed from European funds by 3 of the 6 real estate developers involved in such projects;
- Among the facilities offered to SMEs in Remus BC, co-financed with European money, there is a conference room and a fully furnished and equipped meeting room, copy-printing centers, voice-data network, and two kitchens on each floor.
Remus BC is in a central Ug + Gf + 5F project, a high-quality business center being completed, with a total leasable area of 2,028 sqm, with space modules starting from 84 sqm. Office spaces are handed over partitioned, with the data-voice network executed. The building has air conditioning, generator for vital systems, elevator, 24-hour security, 20 parking spaces. As facilities for SME clients, the center has a conference room and a fully furnished and equipped meeting room, copy-printing centers, and two kitchens on each floor, a data-voice network. On the ground floor, there are two spaces (143 sqm, respectively 60 sqm) that can have a commercial destination.

The REMUS Business Center building will be available from the first quarter of 2014. It is estimated that at the end of September-beginning of October 2013, the works on the facade will be completed, and the interior finishes will be completed.
Three exclusives, in less than a year regarding the renting of spaces for SMEs
In less than a year since such projects were launched on the market, ESOP Consulting has obtained two more exclusives regarding the renting of spaces for SMEs in business centers developed with European money. The first exclusivity was the space for SMEs of 1,250 sqm in the CSDA Siriului building, which ESOP Consulting completed in just three months, bringing four SME type companies.
West Gate was the second center for SMEs taken over exclusively by ESOP, here being available 5,000 sqm of spaces with facilities for small and medium enterprises.
The spaces for SMEs in West Gate can be rented immediately, so the clients can move the next day after signing the rental contract. As facilities, SMEs receive here reception services, copying center, banking services (ATM), broadband network, voice and data IP, IT services (e.g., networking, maintenance), access to the training room/product presentation, meeting room and organization of networking events, translation center, tax consulting office and legal consulting office.
The West Gate business center offers small and medium-sized companies, at the beginning of the road or in full development, the opportunity to be with large companies, among multinationals, including Citibank, Ericsson, Siemens, Accenture, Alpha Bank, PPD Romania, and many other famous names.
Remus BC is thus the third exclusive contract for office spaces with SME type facilities, obtained by ESOP Consulting. Among the first companies to choose to rent headquarters in European-funded centers, through ESOP Consulting and CORFAC International, are 360 Insights, Trend Consult, Obero Solutions, Enterprise Business Systems, Deo Volente, Interallis Chemicals and the Software Center.
In Bucharest, in the period 2011-2012, seven projects were initially approved that offer spaces for SMEs, with areas starting from approximately 1,800 sqm to 15,000 sqm, according to the market study conducted by ESOP Consulting, the leader on space rental market office for medium companies and the Romanian brand number 1 on the office space market.
Of these, only five remained in implementation, the financing of one of the projects being terminated, and one on standby. This year marks the end of the first three business support centers of this type, the first leases for SMEs being signed from the off-plan phase, since the end of 2012. Office buildings with facilities for SMEs are co-financed by the European Union through the Priority Axis 4 program “Supporting the development of the regional and local business environment,” carried out by the Ministry of Local Development and Tourism.
The primary condition imposed on developers to receive co-financing grants is that a particular share of the resulting office space is transformed into business support and development centers, respectively, to rent only small and medium companies, including start-ups. The long-term objective of this program is to create business support structures to attract investment and sustainable economic development and reduce the unemployment rate.
