HARMAN Enters the Romanian Market and Leasee through ESOP a 7.700 sqm Office in Metroffice

Harman International rents 7,700 sqm of office space in Metroffice, assisted by ESOP Consulting.

Harman, a leader in technology for the automotive market, is the anchor tenant of the Metroffice project, for which he signed a lease for a surface of 7,700 sqm of class A offices.

“Now is a good time for corporate transactions, in which a significant number of Class A projects are in various construction stages.

Metroffice – Building A is the first phase of one of the most significant integrated projects, developed by Immofinanz, one of the leading real estate developers in Bucharest.

Offering tenants state-of-the-art facilities and amenities, including myhive, the international Immofinanz standard for reception areas or new green technologies such as LED lighting in the building’s standard equipment, Metroffice has been able to meet Harman’s specific requirements and technical standards”. Mirela Raicu, manager of the Corporate Offices division within the real estate consulting company ESOP Consulting | CORFAC International.

The large office area of 3,600 square meters for each floor, with natural light on all sides of the building facade and the flexibility offered in the arrangement of the space, correspond to the high standards required by Harman for offices in Romania and to accommodate various team members.

The Metroffice project is located in the Dimitrie Pompeiu area, next to the Pipera metro station. It provides for the construction of a total area of 40,000 sqm class A offices, in two stages of development. The first building in Metroffice, where the Harman company is to move, has six floors of flexible office space.

Metroffice aims for LEED Gold certification, with extra HVAC comfort, with complete glass facades, to ensure maximum natural light in the workspaces, windows that open, green roof gardens, and an indoor square with a generous green area. The first offices of the Metroffice project will be up and running in the first quarter of 2017.
